The Research Council, University of Delhi, supports undergraduate students by providing stipend through Innovation Project Scheme. Many Departments in the institution collaborate with each other for undertaking inter-disciplinary research under the umbrella of innovation projects and the STAR College Scheme. During the year 2015-17, 13 innovation projects involving 130 students and 39 faculty members from different departments of the college were successfully accomplished. Three projects were selected by the research council for research display and got best poster awards in their respective categories. The findings and designs in two of our innovation projects have been approved for commercial development and productivity by the industry for the benefit of the society. A documentary movie has also come up under one of the innovation projects.
