The Internship Cell, Hans Raj College is a student run body headed by teacher convenors appointed by the college administration, working towards the common goal of providing students with a wide range of internship opportunities, thereby acting as a building block in enhancing their corporate proficiency and training them to step into the vast corporate world. The Internship Cell is consistent with its commitment to discover new prospects and opportunities hence catering to the most imperative demand of college students.

The Internship Fair 2023

The Internship Fair, hosted annually by The Internship Cell, is a crucial event aimed at bolstering students' competitive advantage in the professional realm. In response to the associated restrictions, this year's fair seamlessly transitioned into a virtual format, welcoming students from colleges nationwide. In 2023, the response was phenomenal, with over 3000+ student registrations flooding in from various colleges and universities. Remarkably, 3,000 applicants were shortlisted from a pool of 12,000 applications. These fortunate individuals gained a priceless opportunity to enhance their skillsets and edge closer to their corporate aspirations. Participation in the Internship Fair equips members with not only exposure to coveted corporate opportunities, but also essential marketable skills honed through planning, organization, promotion, and execution of this grand event. The Fair symbolizes The Internship Cell's dedication to nurturing and guiding students towards success in a fiercely competitive job market. It is an event that leaves an enduring impact on participants' academic and professional journeys, providing a pathway to excellence in their chosen careers.

The Internship Fair 2022

The annual flagship event of the Internship Cell, Hansraj College- The Internship Fair 2022 was organised successfully. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the fair was held online this year as well. A separate website- www.hansrajinternshipfair.com was set up to felicitate the event.

The event was graced by the presence of 40+ companies including highly acclaimed and reputed names such as Byju's, Bajaj Capital, Decathlon, ExtraMarks, CRY, Josh Talks, etc. Internship opportunities were offered in various profiles ranging across Finance, Research, Marketing, Human Resources, Content Writing, IT and many more.

The event was open to Undergraduate students from pan India. The students showed great enthusiasm and the event saw 3200+ registrations. The students registering not only belonged to the University of Delhi but several highly regarded institutions like Mumbai University, Christ University, Bangalore, St. Xaviers College, Kolkata, Loyola College, Chennai and a lot more.

It was a 3- day event. Q&A sessions were conducted by the company representatives to help the students better. There were almost 7700 applications and over 2100 students were shortlisted for the further rounds of the selection process. Throughout the year, The Internship Cell tried its best to serve the students by informing them about the internship opportunities and also providing them with these, which can help the students in their corporate careers ahead.

Carrying the initiative forward, The Internship Cell organises its annual flagship event - The Internship Fair, aiming to target a wider student audience. The event aims to target all those renowned enterprises that are looking for young and spirited enthusiasts for interning with them and to amalgamate the best internship opportunities for all students in and out of Hansraj College.

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Internship Fair 2021 was held over a virtual platform with 4500+ student registration from PAN India colleges and 45+ acclaimed companies and organisations like IIFL Securities Ltd., Collegedunia, DishTV, Josh Talks, Zee Entertainment, Child Rights and You (CRY)

Internship Process

Once the link is established, the company is required to send a job description and fill up a form as a part of the initial process. Once this is done, the rest of the process is followed.

STEP 01

PRE-INTERNSHIP SKETCH

This step deals with the details that are to be provided by the company. Officials are required to give the overview of the company and its operation and help students understand the internship role and responsibilities.

STEP 02

SUBMISSION OF CV’s

The Internship Cell would provide the company with CV’s of interested candidates.

STEP 03

GROUP DISCUSSION OR TEST

This option will be available to all Organizations who wish to make it a part of their Internship Process

STEP 04

INTERVIEWS

The venue will be dependent upon the recruiter- both on and off campus interviews are prevalent

STEP 05

FINAL OFFERS

Selected candidates, after the completion of the procedure, will maintain direct contact with the company for further details such as Joining, Data, Location etc.
