About the society

Initiated with the aim of giving Hansraj students a platform to showcase their talents, Vision today is a well-known name in the college with a loyal following. Being the media society of the college, we not only cover college events diligently but also bring first-hand information to the students at the earliest. Vision also proudly publishes ‘Hansvision’- Hansraj College’s Official Newsletter, biannually. Additionally, it enables the youth to put forward their voice freely and without fear. Vision wishes to give a kickstart to the future journalists by giving them the right exposure at the college level itself.

Major events organised

Being the media society, Vision diligently reported the college events all the year round. The session for Vision kick-started with an online Interview Session with Dr. Brijesh Rathi, the man behind anti- covid molecule. ‘Margdarshan’ was organized with Prof. Rama to motivate students in the time of pandemic and also to provide them a panel to put up their queries regarding OBE. Other events conducted by Vision included- Hopping Sparrows Film Festival, ‘Cultivating Entrepreneurial Mindset’ with Mr Ashutosh Burnwal, and Student Development Program with ISB&M. The society also observed World Suicide Prevention Day by organizing an online competition that witnessed the participation of students from various colleges. Vision also organized a speaker session on the topic 'Why Journalism is considered to be the 4th Pillar of Democracy' with eminent journalist Ms. Shweta Kothari and Principal Dr. Rama in attendance.
The team successfully curated and released the 12th and the 13th edition of its biannual newsletter, ‘HansVision’. Recently, Vision also launched its official website.
Vision collaborated with different college societies as their media partners for the semester. Apart from this, the team worked towards updating students with round-the-clock news regarding college and university (Admissions, OBE, etc).
