Infrastructure

The department has 4 air-conditioned, well-ventilated, and fire-safe laboratories for conducting the practical classes to cater various needs of the students. Laboratories are well furnished with expert laboratory assistants and have the provisions of projection systems, various instruments, and many specimens of plants. Botanical gardens of the department are known for the cultivation of several crop, exotic, medicinal, and ornamental plants. Further, the department houses a common computer room, culture room, Botany Museum, Herbarium, Departmental Library and research laboratory.
