Students of BA History (Hons) visited the Parliament on 6February 2020 under the able guidance of faculty member Dr. Santosh Hasnu which not only gave students a sense of historical significance of the building but also an idea of how the government functions in our country.
The INTACH works with college and university students to promote and train conservation-based education. The History department of the college sends students to some of these programs every year. On 17January2020, seven students attended a day long workshop on the issue. It not only gave them an overall understanding of how conservation is such a relevant issue today, they did take part in various activities that were organized and learnt a lot in a fun-filled way.
