Course objectives

The Certificate Course in RJ, Anchoring & TV Journalism offered by the Hansraj College (DU) in association with the RK Films and Media Academy. Course is designed for beginners who wish to learn the skills and presentation techniques required to work as broadcaster, announcer or anchor for radio, television or internet streaming. During the classes, discussions on public speaking skills, voice modulation, script writing and presentation of live compering for radio, television and events shall also form part of the course.

Course Tuition Fee:Rs. 20,000/-

Eligibility

10+2 pass candidates (from any stream or subjects) or equivalent can apply to join this course in Radio Jockeying, TV Journalism and Anchoring. Candidates appearing or appeared in qualifying exams (i.e.10+2) may also apply.

Students pursuing degree or diploma courses from any colleges, institutes, departments or other universities or institutes may also apply. Recent graduates from various degree courses may also be considered for taking admission.

Applicants may be subject to screening for these Certificate Courses by the Hansraj College after 12th offered through offline and online classes.

Class Mode

Classes shall be offered both through offline and online modes. 2-3 classes per week of around 1.5 hours per class shall be conducted on weekly basis. Weekend class schedules or after regular college hours class schedules may also be offered subject to availability of batches.

Course Duration

Overall 30 hours course duration including mix of tutorials, practical, field visits, assignments, online videos, live classes, discussions, seminars, etc usually covered within a period of 3 months (or lesser duration) varying on the number of classes conducted per week.

Students shall be kept informed on available work-opportunities whether in form of auditions, jobs, internships, freelancing projects or assignments etc. from time to time.
