Srijoni Banerjee is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in English at the University of Delhi. Her doctoral research, titled Food, Memory, and Postmemory: Ways Third-Generation Migrants Remember Partition Through Alimentary Practices, examines the intersections of Partition literature, food studies, and cultural memory. Before beginning her doctoral studies, she earned her M.A. and B.A. (Hons.) in English from Presidency University, Kolkata, and qualified for the UGC-NET (Assistant Professor) in June 2019.
Presently, she is associated with Hansraj College, University of Delhi, as a Guest Faculty member in English. She has previously taught undergraduate English courses at the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB), Hansraj College Centre, University of Delhi, and at Techno International New Town, Kolkata, in a similar capacity.
Banerjee has presented papers at several national and international conferences and has published peer-reviewed articles, the most recent of which was presented at a conference jointly organised by IACLALS and Bangalore University.
